FAQ's List

  • What operating systems do Dyslite support?
    • Because Dyslite is a web browser plugin, it supports all three major operating systems: Windows, Mac, and Linux. Just as long as Google Chrome and/or Mozilla Firefox browsers are available on your operating system, Dyslite should work flawlessly on it as well.
  • What web browsers do Dyslite support?
    • At the moment, Dyslite is designed to work on the latest versions of both Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. If you have an older version of one of these web browsers, follow the instructions below for your web browser to check if it will run Dyslite:

      Mozilla Firefox:

Download the latest version of a free Firefox addon called GreaseMonkey (if you don't already have it installed) here, then download this script and open it with your version of Firefox to run it. If you get a popup asking to install a GreaseMonkey script, then Dyslite will run on your browser.

Important Note: In order for Dyslite to run, you must be running GreaseMonkey 0.6.1+. If you do not have the latest version of GreaseMonkey, it is STRONGLY suggested that you upgrade.

      Google Chrome:

Download this script and open it with your version of Chrome to run it. If you get a popup asking to install a GreaseMonkey script, then Dyslite will run on your browser.

If you don't get the popup on either one of these browsers, upgrading your web browser will be an instant fix to the problem.
  • Why doesn't Dyslite support other web browsers such as Internet Explorer?
    • Dyslite runs through GreaseMonkey, a code injection plugin designed only for Google Chrome and Firefox. Support for other popular web browsers such as Internet Explorer and Safari may be considered in the future.
  • How do I enable/disable/uninstall Dyslite?
    • Enter the GreaseMonkey plugin manager panel on your web browser (usually located in the browser settings) and open up the GreaseMonkey script manager. From there, you will be able to enable, disable, or uninstall the Dyslite plugin.
  • Can I install Dyslite on multiple computers?
    • Just so long as you own all the computers, yes. Unless you have a commercial license, Dyslite is for personal use only. Read our full terms of use here.
